Alexis Bledel starred in the recent theatrical (limited) release, The Good Guy, which is now on pre-order for DVD! The film will be officially released on June 22, 2010. The film didn’t get a wide distribution, and had mixed reviews, but I’d see anything with Alexis in it! Pre-order the DVD here.
Alexis Bledel stars as Beth in this romantic comedy about a young girl who wants it all – good job, friends, and a fantastic guy. She falls for Tommy (Scott Porter), a Wall Street hot-shot. Sadly, as Tommy trains an up-and-coming co-worker, Daniel (Bryan Greenberg), Beth becomes Tommy’s target too. So, Beth has to tackle love like Wall Street – it’s all high risk, high reward, and everyone has an angle.

Alexis Bledel has revealed that she always dates nice men. The actress, who stars in The Good Guy, explained that she doesn’t think she is attracted to “bad boys”. “[I date] mostly good guys, I think,” she told Popeater. “I don’t know. It’s so funny to try to define people as good or bad. I know that’s the theme of the film, but no, not really. I’ve been pretty lucky to date so many nice guys.” However, she added that she likes her partners to be complex, explaining: “It’s nice when someone is a nice guy but he has to have something that’s complicated.”
